Traversee de Paris

The Traversée de Paris (The Crossing of Paris) is a long distance rowing event on the Seine held this year over the weekend of 26th & 27th September.

Following on from hosting a rowing team from France in Swanage earlier this year, a group of SSRC members crossed the channel (by ferry!) to join in the 'traversee' along with crews from other parts of the world in their respective rowing boats.

Before the big day, the SSRC crew managed to sample rowing 'yolettes' and invited their French counterparts to try gig rowing.
