SSRC 10K Run

Over 170 runners donned their trainers on a very windy Sunday to compete in the annual 10K course in and around Swanage.

This event, organised by SSRC attracts runners from many clubs in the UK and is a great fundraiser for the Club.

Many SSRC members helped with marshalling, timekeeping and other duties on the day and runners were welcomed home with tea and cake at the end of their challenging course.

Thanks go to Janice Thomson for organising the event, to all of the volunteers who helped and to Swanage and Herston FC for the use of their clubhouse.

Funds raised will go towards essential safety equipment for SSRC.
