Last week, a group of SSRC volunteers assembled in the Boathouse for their first winter oar maintenance session lead by Bob Jennings. Bob covered the various stages we need to go through to repair, varnish and re-leather our sets of oars in preparation for next season. It has been great to benefit from his expertise.
