SSRC is a registered charity committed to providing sea rowing to anyone wishing to participate. In February 2014 we became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO)
With a varied membership, we provide a full range of sea rowing activity from racing to recreation, at home, in Swanage Bay or away at many wonderful locations throughout the UK where long distance and racing events take place.
Juniors - Monday 6-7pm.
New Members - Tuesdays 5pm onwards.
Womens crews - Wednesdays 5pm onwards.
Mens crews - Thursdays 5pm onwards.
Recreational rowing - Saturday mornings 9 - 12.
Men and Womens training - Sunday mornings 8 - 12.
We also have a growing Junior section, which meet on Mondays, throughout the year. There is something for everyone!
Our Boathouse, which was opened in 2013 has allowed us to provide activity all year round and to share our facility with other community members and groups.
Please get in contact with us if you would like to use our facility for any community use.
We look forward to welcoming you to Swanage Sea Rowing Club!

Boat Booking System
SSRC has started using ROWter - Rowter is a web-based Gig booking system designed by SSRC and developed to suit all our rowing needs. Once registered Members can see what Gigs are in use and where, set their own availability to row, book out a boat and share with the club to fill spaces, select crews and other features.
ROWter is available for other clubs to use, so please click on the logo above and register your clubs interest.
