SSRC Members Information

Trustees

Our Trustees manage the club, ensure the health and safety of its members and deliver its charitable objectives. They rely heavily on members and volunteers to deliver a range of activity - from organising fundraising and social events to boat maintenance, coxing and coaching.

They are supported by the Club Committee who provide expertise and support across different members of the club.

Meetings take place monthly throughout the year and elections annually at the club's AGM in October.

If you are interested in becoming a Trustee or member of the club committee please email ssrc.sec@outlook.com

Booking Equipment

All members are welcome to use club equipment, including boats and indoor equipment.

In order to book club equipment, you need to sign up for an account on ROWter.

If you wish to use equipment in the boathouse, then please remember that you must be at least two people at all times for health and safety reasons.

If you would like to book a boat then please ensure you have a cox. A list of coxes can be found by the door in the boathouse. Any non members must complete a non-members disclaimer form before rowing.

Please avoid booking equipment during regular training session times (Monday to Thursday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings).

Get Involved

As a club we rely on fundraising for new equipment, and there are multiple opportunities throughout the year to get involved. Please keep an eye on the club WhatsApp community or Facebook page for more information.

Are you interested in becoming a cox or a coach? The club will support you with all of the training you need, please speak to our Senior Cox or your section captain for more information in the first instance.

Would you like to support maintenance of club equipment, including the gigs? Please speak to our Bosun or your section captain for more information in the first instance.

All contact details can be found on the wall in the Boathouse.
